WORKSHOP ON PROTECTION OF CHILDREN AGAINST SEXUAL OFFENCES (POCSO) AT GDGIS

Following the POCSO Act – Protection of Children against Sexual Offences – the school recently organized the POCSO workshop for students to ensure the safety of children at GDGIS addressed by Mr.Prafull Sonwani (Civil Judge).

The workshop emphasized on the practical know how about dealing with various themes of sexuality; preventive steps to be undertaken; identifying signs of abuse; key ways of handling them; and knowing The POCSO Act. Details were also shared regarding the Motor Vehicle Act and Juvenile Act.
